ハイドン（Franz Joseph Haydn/ 1732-1809）
『さかえにみちたる（栄えに満ちたる）Glorious things of thee are spoken』は、ハイドン作曲の賛歌『神よ、皇帝フランツを守り給え』のメロディが用いられた讃美歌。聖歌199番では『輝く姿は』として歌われる。
歌詞は、『アメイジング・グレイス』作詞者として有名なイギリスの牧師ジョン・ニュートン（John Henry Newton /1725–1807）が記したオルニー讃美歌集（Olney Hymns）に収録された詩『Glorious things of thee are spoken』が用いられている。

ドイツ国歌『ドイツの歌』にも採用
『神よ、皇帝フランツを守り給え』は、18世紀オーストリアの音楽家フランツ・ヨーゼフ・ハイドンが、1797年2月12日、神聖ローマ皇帝フランツ2世の誕生日に献呈したオーストリアの賛歌。
その後、1804年に成立したオーストリア帝国における正式な国歌となり、さらもオーストリア＝ハンガリー帝国の国歌として引き継がれた。なお、今日におけるオーストリア国歌は『山岳の国、大河の国』。
クロアチア地方の民謡を基にした壮麗なメロディで、弦楽四重奏曲第77番ハ長調の第2楽章にも転用された（変奏曲）。今日のドイツ国歌『ドイツの歌 Deutschlandlied』には、このハイドンのメロディが用いられている。
