解説

　『ルール・ブリタニア Rule, Britannia!』は、イギリスの古い愛国歌。ロンドンで1745年に初演された。

　タイトルの「ルール Rule」とは、「統治する、支配する」の意。

　現在でも、ロンドンで毎年夏に開催されるクラシック音楽コンサート「BBCプロムス」の最終夜に演奏される。

　また、スコットランドのサッカークラブ、レンジャーズFCのサポーターソングとしても歌われている。
